Clearances

I have been seeking permissions for all footage that we have considered using and have gotten clearance for the clips actually used:

I have also kept on top of the location agreements and contributor agreements:

During one of the class exercises we went out into town to interview people and got talking to one of the stewards in the Winter Gardens who, when I asked how we get permission to film in the Winter Gardens, explained that we have to contact the City Council to obtain permission to film.  He gave me the contact details and I spoke to the department.  It was useful to find this out and get the contact, but also shows the importance of asking permission.  If we had just set up and started filming we would have had problems off the staff, but because I asked in advance they were really helpful.
